Kitties!! (6 weeks)

The kitties are 6 weeks old and will be going home with their new families soon!  All three are quite playful these days, and like especially to both clean and attack feet!  They are all beginning to wean from their Mommy and have started eating solid "dry" food and drinking water from a dish. 

Morris (orange striped) is getting to be very cuddly and will come up to us because he wants to be pet.  Morris also likes to play with Ollie.  Lily (gray striped) is still the most playful one, and is starting to come up with us to hang out more and more!  :)  But, she still likes to come out from her bed and yell at all of us when she first wakes up...haha

While we were worried about Mittens (black and white) last week, as she didn't appear to be getting enough to eat from her Mommy and was losing strength, she has VERY quickly been nursed back to health with kitty formula and the solid kitty food.  (She is actually very protective of her food bowl and will put her paw in so that no one else can eat out of the bowl while she is there...haha)  It seems that the kitty formula gave her just the strength she needed to get back in the game, and is more easily getting in on any remaining nursing action with Cee-cee.  Also, while her head was droopy last weekend, it is almost completely upright now, and her eyes are much more focused!  That to us suggests she just needed some sustenance to build her strength!  She has also gotten increasingly playful over the past few days.  Yay! :)
